General Terms & Conditions of IMP b.v. - International Medical Publishers, of Zeeweg 15 in Huizen [NL 1271 VV], The Netherlands, hereinafter called IMP.

PRICING

IMP aim to reflect the most accurate information on at all times. We supply items and data at recommended prices except where a specific discount is offered. We will make all reasonable efforts to present accurate information, but cannot guarantee the price or our ability to supply for any particular printed or electronic information.

Occasionally prices may increase unexpectedly as a result of external factors and we are sorry to have to pass on these to the customer.

All prices on our website www.impmedia.nl are displayed in Euros [€] and include Dutch VAT, Bank and additional charges as well as additional local taxes as to the latter in the country of destination, these are for the account of the receiver.

Prices for printed media include Standard Postage and handling charges for surface mail delivery. Charges for Priority Mail delivery are available on request.

VAT DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS

To comply with current VAT/BTW distance selling regulations, we charge the applicable Dutch VAT rate for any country, as our system is not able to distinguish VAT exempt territories. So in principle all customers will be charged VAT when placing an order. Customers informing us on our website pages about their official VAT-number will not be charged the applicable VAT. However this can only be done if the customers official name used corresponds exactly with the VAT-number given by their local tax and VAT authorities.

CUSTOMS CHARGES

If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the EU, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you. It is accepted by you that IMP has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. IMP recommends that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order.

SHOPPING LIST

If you add, remove items or alter the number of items on the order page, the cost of all items will be recalculated accordingly.

Items from different order pages cannot be mixed; all items must be ordered from their original order page.

All offered items must be prepaid and are subject to availability and may be changed or withdrawn without notice at any time by IMP. No cash alternatives or returns are accepted

ORDERING & PAYING

All orders must be specified and paid via IMP’s web shop. The given details will automatically be shown on the screen and can be printed or saved for personal use.
Please note IMP will only accept payments made with its ordering system, or by the Buckaroo Online Payment System:

Orders via local (medical) booksellers & subscription agents are also welcome.

BY PLACING AN ORDER THE CUSTOMER AGREES WITH IMP's TERMS & CONDITIONS.

INVOICE

Invoices are in € (Euros) only, will show Dutch VAT and will either be sent as an attachment by e-mail to the customer, or (if applicable) be included with the shipment of printed publications.

RETURNS & CLAIMS

In principle IMP accept returns for misprints only.

Please always request permission for returns and when doing so always refer to IMP’s invoice number.

In the event IMP have made a mistake, the purchase is incorrectly supplied, damaged/faulty or not working properly, we will replace the item.

Please always contact us at info@impmedia.nl for consultation before taking any action in such matter.

Please also keep in mind that:

• returns must arrive at our end in pristine and resaleable condition,
• returns must be accompanied by a copy of our original invoice, delivery note or receipt,
• returns should be send to us by the most economical method,
• returns remain customers property until the receipt at our end has been confirmed.

Please note that our return policy does not apply to online services as these cannot be returned or exchanged. If you experience technical difficulty in accessing, please contact us at info@impmedia.nl for assistance.

Claims for missing shipments should be made within 1 calendar month from the noncimmital delivery date mentioned in IMP's automated order confirmation as otherwise such claims cannot be honoured. For further information please contact IMP's customers service department via CONTACT US.

CANCELLATION

Cancellations of printed media orders are not accepted.
Subscription cancellations must be received two calendar months prior to the new subscription period. No cancellation requests will be accepted for the current year once a subscription has been entered. For further information please contact IMP's customers service department via CONTACT US.

CONTRACT

When you place an order to purchase a product from IMP, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in that e-mail, do not form part of that contract.

PRIVACY

Imp recognises the concern of our customers regarding privacy of information. All information you give to IMP is stored securely, and is not accessible to other users and parties. Rest assured that any information you give will not be distributed to any other company outside of IMP or its affiliated partners, unless you give us your express and written consent.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will not pass your information to another trader unless you have given us your consent. In order to process your payment we may, however, provide financial information to our account processors (including Banks and such organisations). In addition, you may notify us if you do not wish to receive any further marketing information from us. The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name

We will endeavour to ensure the information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by e-mailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

Note that if your order turns out not to be available and we have to obtain it from a third party, we might need to transfer the correct information to that party to fulfil the order.

The security certificate is issued by buckaroo and uses SSL 128 bit key encryption - US industry standard security software. Information passed between your computer and our website cannot be read in the unlikely event that it is intercepted by someone else.

USE OF SITE

IMP and Buckaroo reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, and/or cancel transactions in its discretion, if they believe that customer conduct is in violation or breach of any applicable law or their terms and conditions, or is harmful to the interests of them.
